EPIC Information Solutions fuels-up for their first United Way campaign.
EPIC Information Solutions decided to begin the week, and their first-ever United Way campaign, with a simple yet always effective kickoff last week – a pancake breakfast.
And not just pancakes, pancakes created on a BBQ using a special BBQ pancake-making accessory that makes actual grill lines!
About 70 EPIC employees learned about the important work of the Canadian Mental Health Association – a United Way partner agency – from speaker Michelle Golebiowski.
This is Michelle’s first year as part of the United Way Speakers’ Bureau, and she says she’s enjoying herself!
“It was awesome. There was a lot of great people, and they were listening,” said Michelle, who speaks about how her family was affected by mental health.
“The audience was really great and made it a pleasure to share.”
