All over Winnipeg in 2010, lunchrooms were more lively, boardrooms more boisterous and job sites more jovial for hundreds of organizations and thousands of employees who participated in a United Way workplace campaign.
United Way of Winnipeg is currently accepting bids on a very special jersey that is sure to be a gold-medal holiday gift.
Economy blamed for drop in donor numbers, donations
With just weeks remaining in the 2010 campaign, United Way is counting on Winnipeggers to help ensure hope, stability and opportunity in our community by raising the final $1.8 million needed to maintain an essential network of social programs and resources.
Recently recognized as one of the Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada, and the only telecommunications company to earn such a distinction, MTS Allstream has proven once again that they mean business when it comes to creating a stronger, safer and healthier Winnipeg.
They’re freezing their assets for charity.
