Dream on: endless possibilities for a better Winnipeg.

Our annual Community Luncheon & AGM is one the best moments of the year: old friends coming together to celebrate everything we’ve done together and all the progress we’ve seen in the past year.

What kind of Winnipeg do YOU want?We were pleased to share the day with Premier Selinger, Mayor Katz, staff and volunteers from over 100 agency partners, business and labour leaders, members of the board, Elder of the Fisher River Cree Nation Dr. Stan McKay, and our good friend Gail Asper, whose Family Foundation provided Platinum Sponsorship.

Among the many successes of this past year—from the launch of Peg and its first Wellness Report, the release of the Community Task Force to End Homelessness Plan to End Homelessness in Winnipeg, and the Point Douglas Boldness Project to a campaign that surpassed $20 million for the first time—are the stories of lives changed by people’s commitment to and belief in working together through United Way.

This is also the time of year we release our Annual Report and our audited financial statements, in the spirit of transparency and stewardship.

Dream On: Elder McKay.
