Brain Architecture Game

Understand on a deeper level why investing in youth care and services is critical to the health of our city

Did you know 90% of your brain’s development occurs before age five? Our experiences in those early years, good and bad, supportive or traumatic, drastically impact every aspect of our lives as we grow older, from personal interactions to professional aspirations.

The Brain Architecture Game is a virtual or in-person guided group activity that puts you inside the mind of a child to see how their brains are affected by these positive and negative life experiences.

Children can’t control what happens to them in life—but early interventions by caregivers and communities can help kids develop positive coping skills to buffer the effects of negative experiences.

The Brain Architecture Game will help you understand on a deeper level how donating to United Way Winnipeg can transform the lives of children who began their journey in adversity.
