The HR Community of Practice Program is being delivered in partnership with Barry Jansen of JansenHR. United Way Winnipeg initiated the HR CoP to support learning, networking, sharing, as well as the development and the continuous improvement of effective HR.
Participants in the HR CoP will experience a blend of structured learning, opportunity to explore participant HR issues and challenges, peer support/networking, and skill building.

Are you a social impact Executive Director looking for peer support, development opportunities, and knowledge exchange? If so, United Way Winnipeg’s ED Peer Network is the program for you!
At United Way Winnipeg, we understand that there is a need for dedicated space and time for Executive Directors to get together for mutual sharing, learning, and support. We understand that there’s limited opportunity to speak openly about organizational challenges and personal struggles. This program aims to offer a safe space for Executive Directors to work through their biggest challenges and is being delivered in partnership with Barry Jansen of JansenHR.

In today’s complex non-profit environments, leaders are often called upon to navigate competing priorities, ethical dilemmas, and challenges of trust and accountability. United Way Winnipeg reserves the right to cancel any workshop at any time. United Way Winnipeg will inform registrants via email of workshop cancellations at least 48 hours ahead of the workshop date. Participants registered for a workshop or session cancelled by United Way Winnipeg will receive a full refund.
REFUND POLICY
To request a full refund, registrants must cancel up to one week (five business days) before the workshop date (or start date for a multi-day workshop). No refunds will be issued to registrants who cancel within one week of the workshop date (or start date for a multi-day workshop). Registrants who do not show up for a workshop will be responsible for the full workshop ticket price.
