United Way Winnipeg exists because organized Labour and the business community believed in a better way to serve our community. This historic partnership formed the foundation of a movement of caring that began in 1965 and continues to this day.
As we commemorate 60 years of solidarity, we are honoured to shine a light on our brothers, sisters, and friends who believe in supporting Winnipeggers through tough times and championing a stronger city for all.
We’re also exceedingly proud to recognize Labour’s essential contributions to United Way Winnipeg’s 2024 campaign, which raised an incredible $22.4 million to protect a social safety network of agencies, programs, and services changing lives every day.
