The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Connie Walker has agreed to assume the role of Interim President & CEO of the United Way Winnipeg while the process to select a new President & CEO is underway. Connie will be assuming this interim role effective Monday, March 24, 2025.
During her time as President & CEO of the United Way Winnipeg from 2014 to 2023, Connie demonstrated her strong leadership skills as a devoted community builder to make Winnipeg better for all. Our community has been enriched by her conviction, leadership, and grace.
As we launch the search process for a new leader, please join me in welcoming Connie to this interim role. As the celebration of our 60th anniversary approaches, we are excited to build on a strong foundation to realize real and lasting change across our city so that everyone has hope.
