Equity Approaches to Organization Policy Development (Virtual)

Organization policies play a key role in an agency’s efforts to weave diversity, equity, inclusion and decolonizing values into the work. these values are a crucial component to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and play a key role in an organization’s efforts to weave, diversity, equity, inclusion and decolonizing values into their work.

 

A partnership with Jared Star of Bison Research and Development (formerly Jared Star Consulting), this half-day, virtual workshop will review contemporary trends in policy development across the non-profit sector while sharing resources and tools for leaders to begin engaging in policy development as transformative, social justice work.

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY

United Way Winnipeg reserves the right to cancel any workshop at any time. United Way Winnipeg will inform registrants via email of workshop cancellations at least 48 hours ahead of the workshop date. Participants registered for a workshop or session cancelled by United Way Winnipeg will receive a full refund.

REFUND POLICY

To request a full refund, registrants must cancel up to one week (five business days) before the workshop date (or start date for a multi-day workshop). No refunds will be issued to registrants who cancel within one week of the workshop date (or start date for a multi-day workshop). Registrants who do not show up for a workshop will be responsible for the full workshop ticket price.
