Note: Plane Pull is sold out for 2025. Well, hello, Team Captain! It’s easy.
Step 1: Fill out the quick ‘n easy registration form.
Step 2: Pay the $500 registration fee (which includes a tasty lunch for 20!)
Step 3: Recruit 19 friends and co-workers to form a superstar 20-person team. Make sure every member signs the liability waiver, which will come to Team Captains in an email. All waivers must be submitted to United Way Winnipeg at or before the event on Friday, September 12. Safety first!
Step 4: Watch your email for exciting updates and information!
Yes, there is a $500 registration fee per team (only $25 per person!) which includes lunch, a chance to win prizes and the opportunity to brag that you pulled an 80,000+ lb. plane and helped United Way Winnipeg kick off our 2025 campaign!
Pull times will be shared when your team arrives in the morning. We encourage all teams to able to attend the full event, enjoy lunch, cheer on our fellow Winnipeggers, and experience all the excitement that Plane Pull has to offer!
Fun team prizes will be awarded based on fastest pull time, most team spirit, and more! More details to come.
Snacks, lunch, games, entertainment, and extreme team bonding will all be a part of Plane Pull day! More information about the agenda will be sent to participants closer to the event.
Your team is welcome to bring additional guests to help cheer you on. Lunch purchase for additional guests is now closed, but 20 lunches are included with your team registration.
This year, the Plane Pull event will focus on kicking off our 2025 campaign—there is no individual fundraising component. But feel free to get pumped for your workplace’s annual United Way Winnipeg fundraising campaign!
In honour of our 60th anniversary, we are so excited to bring back Plane Pull, one of United Way Winnipeg’s most beloved events. We’ll kick off our annual campaign with Plane Pull this year instead of Walk This Way.
By participating in United Way Winnipeg’s Plane Pull, you’ll be part of a united movement with thousands of other Winnipeggers who love our city and want everyone who lives here to thrive. It’s great team building. And it’s fun!
