The Board of Trustees of United Way Winnipeg wants to share that President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Richardson has resigned from his role for personal reasons. This decision did not come lightly nor without careful consideration for United Way Winnipeg and our community.

We appreciate Michael’s leadership and dedication and want to warmly thank him for his time with United Way Winnipeg. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

The Board of Trustees of United Way Winnipeg will appoint an Interim/Acting President and Chief Executive Officer before the end of February, 2025 and that individual will lead the organization while the Board of Trustees searches for a new President and CEO. No disruptions in leadership or services are anticipated.

Thank you to our donors, employees and supporters for your understanding during this transition.
