United Way Winnipeg’s 2026 Report to Community & Annual General Meeting
As part of our community of caring, we help bring people together around a shared responsibility to Winnipeg. Connection and understanding are at the heart of our united way of being, and we would love for you to join us virtually on June 24 as we explore the essential role we all play in Winnipeg’s future. We will discuss where the movement is today, what we are seeing in the community, and how United Way Winnipeg is helping mobilize people and resources toward a stronger city.
Finally, members of our Board of Trustees will be asked to vote on the slate of nominees and the 2025–2026 Audited Financial Statements.

Program begins: 8:30 a.m.
We can’t wait to gather with you for this meaningful morning!
At our AGM, the business of the meeting will include:
- report on activities in 2025/26
- audited financial statements
- elections to Board of Trustees
- approval of changes to the United Way Winnipeg By-Laws
Copies of the 2025-2026 Audited Financial Statements will be available on our website or upon request by contacting United Way Winnipeg’s office. Copies of the updated Bylaws are also available by request.
Clause 5:04(b) of Revised Bylaw No.1 reads:
“A nomination for Trustee of any individual not nominated as such in a report of the Nominating Committee shall be in writing signed by at least five members and shall be received by the Secretary no less than twenty-five (25) days prior to the annual meeting at which such nomination is to be presented, together with a statement in writing signed by such nominee indicating a willingness to serve as Trustee if elected.”
